The combination of experience in scale modeling, available personal time and the relatively low labor costs in the Philippines was a fertile soil for a scale production of finished vintage flying scale models.

The members of the work force are dedicated Filipinos who  trained under the supervision of Göran Kalderén and Tom Welch. All K & W aircraft are designed by our team from documentation that can be traced to the original plane. The final quality control is the personal task of the management and each aircraft is fully assembled and personally inspected by our design staff prior to disassembly and shipping.

With the founders’ aviation interest in the time prior to WW2, it is natural that the concept of the production program would center on airplanes from the period 1903 - 1933, and as it is stated in a brochure: "All airplanes are large 1/5th scale models of the full size counterpart. Some original aircraft are still flying today, some original aircraft are residing in museums and some have vanished from the surface of this earth, only to be revived as models in our manufacturing program".
